Ambassadors
They are people who know what it means to push yourself to the limit – on the slopes, on the track, in the water and at the table. That’s why we can’t just pack a can full of sugar and pretend it’s refreshment. These are the Liquid Positive ambassadors.
RICHARD VARGA
Slovakia’s most successful triathlete, a two-time Olympian who competed in London and Rio, and the founder of Varga Triathlon Academy and UpTogether Triathlon. For years, he was the fastest swimmer in world triathlon – emerging from the water first while everyone else was still looking for the shore. After 1,500 metres of swimming, there’s a bike ride and a run waiting for you. At that point, your body doesn’t need sugar or marketing. It needs fuel – and Richard knows exactly what that means.
ISADORE
Peter and Martin Velits spent almost twenty years in the professional peloton before founding their own cycling apparel brand – Isadore. Merino, local production, zero compromises. Isadore is built on a simple idea: when you wear something against your skin all day, you should know what it’s made of. We believe exactly the same should apply to what you drink.
Kellys factory team
A downhill run lasts three minutes and doesn’t forgive a single mistake. The guys from the Kellys Factory Team race hundreds of them every season – World Cups, championships, all across Europe. A sport where everything comes down to fractions of a second, and the only thing you can rely on is preparation.
BORIS TRÁVNIČEK
A Paralympic medallist and two-time world medallist in para table tennis. Table tennis is a sport of millimetres and hundredths of a second – the ball travels faster than you can think, so it all comes down to reflexes, years of hard work and a clear mind. Boris is one of the best in the world at bringing those three things together.
JOZEF METELKA
A golden hat-trick in the 4 km team pursuit – Rio, Tokyo, Paris. Add a world record and years of being simply unbeatable in his discipline. The team pursuit is cycling in its purest form: just you, the track and your opponent on the other side of the velodrome. Four kilometres where there’s nowhere to hide – and Jozef made it his territory.
Each of them has a different sport, a different goal and a different taste. What connects them is what they reach for after training
